Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest financial successes, consistently making massive paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers met for the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly happening.
